Dave Watts is Managing Director of Achieving Excellence Ltd.   
  
In a successful career in Financial Services he held senior positions across all major insurance markets. In his role as Head of Corporate Development at NatWest Life he was responsible for the Company's drive towards excellence. They became a finalist in both the UK and European Excellence Awards for two successive years.

In 1998 he was appointed Head of the NatWest Credit Protection Insurance Service with responsibility for business revenue in excess of £100m.

Continuing his practical involvement with the EFQM Excellence Model he was an instrumental member of the executive team that helped the Company win the UK Excellence Award in 1999.

Dave has assessed at regional, national and European level and spent many years as a Senior Assessor for the European Excellence Awards.

In January 2001 he established Achieving Excellence, using the skills and experience built up over many years to develop a strongly customer-focused consultancy and training organisation. Dave has been licensed to deliver European Assessor Training for many years and has trained literally hundreds of people around the UK.

In his spare time Dave has a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles riding whenever he can and also enjoys clay pigeon shooting (but not at the same time!).
